The owners of a trout farm were amazed a photographer caught their fish making an extraordinary escape on camera.
He pictured the trout making giant leaps out of their pond into a metal feed pipe three feet above the water level.
They then fought against the current for 30ft to the end of the eight inch wide pipe, which emerges underwater in a tributary of the River Itchen near Alresford, Hants.

A barber in China has set a world record by cutting a customer’s hair with 10 pairs of scissors simultaneously.
Wang Zedong, 41, of Jiujiang city, Jiangxi province, demonstrated his stunt in a television studio with hundreds of people, and Guinness officials, in the audience.
In less than three minutes, Wang cut the model’s hair, reports Zhejiang Online.

A gemstone ‘stained with blood and dishonour’ haunted anyone who owned it. This week it goes on show for the first time.
Some 34 years ago Peter Tandy, a young curator at the Natural History Museum, happened upon a jewel while working among the great lines of mineral cabinets. From a scientific perspective, the stone was nothing special, though its setting was rather bizarre, bound by a silver ring decorated with astrological symbols and mystical words with two scarab-carved gems attached. It was a typewritten note that accompanied the jewel, an amethyst known as the Delhi Purple Sapphire, that caught Tandy’s eye.
